Life journey
Shri. Pipersenia’s first assignment was an Assistant Commissioner, Dhubri. During the early phase of his career, he served in various positions in the Government of Assam like Sub- Divisional Officer (Civil), Nalbari, Deputy Commissioner, Nalbari, Joint Secretary, Health Department and Secretary, Revenue Department.
Shri. Pipersenia has also worked in the Government of India in various Ministries such as Home Affairs, Industry, Human Resources Development etc. He has also functioned as Financial Adviser in the Ministry of Human Resources Development as well as Financial Commissioner, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation under the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
In the recent past, Shri. Pipersenia headed the Revenue & disaster Management Department and Cooperation Department as Principal Secretary and then Agriculture, Irrigation, Public Work Department and Panchayat & Rural Development as Additional Chief Secretary and Agriculture Production Commissioner.
