The research piece ‘Indian Exports – Loss of Global Competitiveness’ was published in ‘Economic & Political Weekly’ (Vol L no 34) on August 22nd, 2015. The research report ‘TPP – Trans Pacific Partnership’ was well accepted by the Commerce Ministry, published as the primary piece in the monthly magazine of Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) of India and cited in the Economic Survey 2016 of the Finance Ministry.
The policy impact of one of our policy recommendations was felt when the government raised the securities transaction tax on derivatives in order to rationalise the tax structure compared to cash market and discourage retail speculations, in the General Budget in February, 2016.
Presently, on sabbatical as research scholar in Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT). The broad research topic is 'Impact of macro economic variables in Bond yields'.
