The biggest festivals of the assamese "Rongali Bihu" was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Tecnology, Surat, Gujarat.

All the students hailing from not only Assam but North-East had a get together where all of them enjoyed and danced to their fullest and got themselves mingled with the various colours of BIHU. There was a grand feast with various foods cooked in traditional assamese way of cooking and everybody ate to their heart's content. Students of other states too, danced with others and praised the fact that assamese culture was kept alive so far from ASSAM.
