To celebrate the occasion a Diamond Jubilee Celebration Committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the Principal, Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh. The committee has decided to celebrate a year-long programme starting from November 3, 2006 and to be completed on November 3, 2007 in the college.

All teachers, students, ex-teachers / ex-students, alumni, employees are cordially invited to actively participate in the diamond jubilee celebration of their alma mater. All well-wishers are requested to put forward their valuable suggestions, financial or other help for all-round development of this prestigious institution, a press release said.

A competition for ‘a logo and slogan’ is being organised and the best of the ‘logo and the slogan’ will be the official emblem of the Diamond Jubilee Celebration. All interested to participate in this competition are hereby requested to send the above articles to the celebration committee on or before May 31, 2006. The winner will be duly honoured in the final programme of the celebration, C/o The Principal, Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh-786002, Assam.
